Total Energy Summer School


Total is organizing the second edition of the “Total Energy Summer School”, which will take place from May 13th to May 17th 2019 at Nazarbayev University. 

“Total Energy Summer School” is focused on senior students of BSc and MSc degrees both in energy disciplines (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries, Geology and Environment), and in other disciplines associated to energy (International Relations, International Law, Business and Management). 

The overall aim of the Total Energy Summer School is the transfer of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to Kazakhstani students by international experts from Total, all of which have decades of experience worldwide in their respective fields.

As part of the “Total Energy Summer School” a roundtable discussion will take place on the 13th of May, involving the experts from Total, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and of the Ministry of Energy, industry associations, national companies, universities, and business partners under the general topic: “Developing a more competitive oil & gas and renewable energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan through enhanced educational programs and sharing of best practice industrial experience”. This roundtable is part of the roadmap for partnership with investors on the development of technical and vocational education concluded within the Foreign Investors’ Council chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
