On the 11th of April at 9:00 am in 6507 will be a sharing knowledge session with president of Society Petroleum Engineering (SPE) Medhat M. Kamal.
Medhat (Med) M. Kamal is a Chevron Fellow Emeritus and Honorary Member of SPE with more than 45 years of experience in the industry. He has worked for Cairo University, Amoco Production Company, Flopetrol Schlumberger, and ARCO Exploration and Production Company. Kamal has served on numerous committees and boards within SPE, including as a Distinguished Lecturer and as Regional Director of Western North America on the SPE International Board of Directors. He has received several regional and international awards, holds multiple degrees in petroleum engineering, and has presented lectures in over 35 countries.
