On September 22, 2022, NU School of Mining and Geosciences, in cooperation with Akita University (Japan), held an International Seminar on recourse science and sustainable recourse development in Central Asia. The aim of the Seminar is to provide and share the activities on sustainable development and resource management in Central Asia for the utilization of natural resources and carbon neutrality. Participants of the Seminar are scientists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, and Japan. During the Seminar, the attention was paid to the scientific areas such as geology, mineral exploration, smart mining, metallurgy and the environment.
