Field Production Engineering overview

On the 31st of August at 17:00 in 6.105 will be a guest lecture with Bekzhan Saduakassov.

The title of the talk is: “Field Production Engineering overview”.

Background:
  • Completed bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at Kazakh-British Technical University in Almaty between 2004-2008.
  • Joined Baker Hughes wireline department shortly after graduating from KBTU.
  • Studied at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh doing MSc in Petroleum Engineering between 2010-2011.
  • Joined KPO (Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b.v.) as a simulation engineer in 2012. Throughout 2012-2017 worked there supporting a wide range of activities from a reservoir engineering side (sector-modeling, history-matching, production forecasting, subsurface project support, etc.).
  • Joined TCO in November 2017 as a Field Production Engineer monitoring daily well production/injection performance and providing analysis & optimization.
  • Worked as a Reservoir Surveillance Coordinator in TCO’s Reservoir Management Group department between 2020-2023.
  • In March 2023 transitioned to the role of Field Development Project Delivery Team Lead.
