Dear NU Community,
Nazarbayev University School of Mining and Geosciences launched an SMG Open Talk series for exchanging knowledge and ideas among NU Community. School of Mining and Geosciences Faculty will cover on a variety of topics from Geology, Mining and Petroleum engineering. The SMG Open Talk series is open to all members of NU Community. Our speakers will explain the subject matter, and to define any words or terms that may be unfamiliar to those not having a familiarity with the material being presented.
Next speaker of SMG Open Talk series is Dr. Chang Hong Gao. He will speak on “Microbes and Polymers: from Lab to Field”.
Chang Hong Gao is an Associate professor in Petroleum engineering at NU School of Mining and Geosciences. Before he joined Nazarbayev University, he taught at UAE University, University of Aberdeen, and American University of RAK. He also had worked in industry as engineer for Sinopec and Haike Group.
