Mr. Sultan Abulkhair, Mining Engineering graduate of 2021, virtually attended the Iron Ore Conference 2021, which was held between 8 and 10 November 2021 in Perth, Australia. Iron Ore Conference is one of the most reputable AusIMM’s conferences that brings together the best industry professionals and decision-makers from all aspects of the iron ore industry.
Sultan’s paper focuses on stochastic techniques for resource modelling and mine planning in iron ore deposits with inequality constraints between variables. This work was supervised by our faculty member, Dr. Nasser Madani, and director of Delphos Mine Planning Laboratory in Chile, Dr. Nelson Morales. The presented peer-reviewed article has been published in the conference proceedings by AusIMM:
