NU SMG MSc graduate’s scientific paper made it to the final stage of the 2021 SPE Russia and Caspian Student Paper Contest. A scientific paper entitled “Application of Artificial Intelligence Methods to Predict Asphaltene Removal Efficiency by using Nanoparticles” by Mr. Turar Yerkenov has been successfully accepted to the final stage in Masters (MSc) Category in the 2021 SPE Russia and Caspian Student Paper Contest. Turar is a recent MSc graduate of Petroleum Engineering supervised by Dr. Ali Shafiei. He will present his work on 2nd day of the SPE Russian Petroleum Technology Conference to be held online on 15 October 2021. The SPE Russian Petroleum Technology Conference annually brings together oil and gas experts and specialists, including operators and service companies, research institutes and universities, government agencies and professional public organizations.
